This is all Ralph's fault. I told him to keep to his side of the island and I would leave him alone. However, I never said anything about not bothering Piggy. It's just so easy to get to him. You should have seen the look on his face when I took his glasses! And then here he comes all high and mighty with his stupid shell trying to tell me that I have to give them back? I don't have to do anything! I'm the chief of this island now. Everyone knows Ralph was a bad leader he couldn't even give them meat so why did they need fire? At least now the beast will have something big and fatty to eat now that Piggy's dead. Too bad those marines came when they did. I mean.. of course I wanted to go home but I was in the middle of the biggest hunt of my life. It sure would have felt good to have gotten Ralph. I had Roger sharpen a stick at both ends...

Chapters 5 and 6This is becoming harder and harder. The other boys arent helping me at all and i feel like everything is on my shoulder. I have to do everything my self and constantly remind the boys i need their assistance but nothing is getting done. They dont want to work on the shelters nor any other important chores such as gathering drinking water, or signaling the fire. On top of all this they are all starting to fear monsters more and more which is effecting the group a lot.The twins made a claim and started signaling the fire which scared the boys even more. When we were on our expeition to find the beast, everyone lost focus and started doing their own thing and completely forgot what they're task was. They barely follow my instructions and its a struggle everyday.
Chapters 9 an 10
Today couldn't get any worse.We acted foolishly and killed one of our good friends Simon. There is nothing that can take that back and we are living in guilt. We followed some of Jack's boys and started going crazy and careless just like them which lead to the crucial act. Jack is overruling and taking over everything. Most of the boys are on his side now and he is taking advantage of being "king."Hes beating boys for no logical reason and is making matters worse. Some of his boys even beat me and Piggy up for no reason and even stole his glasses to benefit them in starting a fire

I GOT HIM! - I finally did it. I finally killed the pig! With our clay paint camouflage, which was my idea, was the best. And now that i finally killed the pig, I go back to find Ralph mad at me and the others for not watching the fire. We were only gone for what..an hour, it's really not that big of a deal. He made us feel horrible about it though. We finally get some meat and all we do is get yelled at for something else. And who does that FATTY think he is anyway, standing up to me like that. When I slapped him and knocked his glasses off his face, boy I showed him. He's always complaining like a little girl i needed to knock some sense into him. Oh and another thing, that kid Ralph, lets just say he's not my favorite person on the island.

I SAW IT! I finally saw the beast that everyone on this island has been talking about. After climbing up that exhausting mountain, Ralph, Roger and I saw this terrifying large ape like creature at the top. OH, and i can't believe the other boys will not take Ralph out of the top of the leadership. I personally think, i should be the leader of the group. I mean i do know a lot more than Ralph and half less scared. So i decided to take off on my own and who ever wanted to follow was more then welcome. Of course I made myself the leader of my own group. The boys of my group killed a pig, which means FOOOOOD! We had a big feast, and I was nice enough to let any of the boys come. Ralph still makes me angry though. We'll see what happens with me and him.

Who does that Ralph think he is, blowing that stupid conch in front of the most beautiful place, Castle Rock. I couldn't help myself, but to fight him, and a fight worth while. Poor FATTY, fell and "killed himself." He deserved it anyway. OH yeaa, and I now have 2 more members of my group. Sam and Eric finally joined after a long torture that they forced themselves to get into. Now my only enemy, the only person I want dead on this island is Ralph. I try to go looking for him and can't find him. I have a brilliant idea of setting the whole jungle on fire so that Ralph would burn either way. But something more exciting happens, WE ARE RESCUED! I can't wait to get home and see my family. I wonder if there is any good food in my house, I'm starved.

It's a shame Piggy had to die. Although, it did teach the others a lesson and he was quite annoyning. I am not excited to be rescued. When the ship appeared, I became lost. My reign of power was short lived. Now, we travel back to civilization. I don't think I will do well in society - because the time spent on this island has changed me. I am no longer Jack Merridew, the lead choir boy. My family will not know who I am and they should fear me. Hopefully, after a while back in the real world, my hunting instincts will diminish and I will be accepted again. But one can only hope.

I had to fight Ralph as for Piggy well, do I have to discuss that? Whatever happened it happened for the good, lets just put it that way. I took his glasses and they come after me with a conch. I find that really funny. I need it to have my own fire, if they don’t have meat what do they need a fire for anyway? After everything happened Piggy died, what did I say. Everything happened for the best. I recruited the twins and I had the whole place for myself except for one person…Ralph. So hunted him down by sending my boys to burn everything in their way if they had to. Everything was going so smoothly until some naval officer came. Back to civilization already? I was just getting started.

Haha! Ralph must think he's a big shot, coming over to my camp and trying to gain back his former followers. There's something he doesn't know - they're with me now! Forever! I showed him when I nearly stabbed him with my spear. And he thinks I'm going to let little Piggy have his specs back? That's a joke! Those specs are mine now. We need it for cooking all our meat. And how funny was that when we tied up those dumb twins - they better join my tribe. Then Ralph will really have no one since Piggy's gone. Hahaha bow down to the new chief!
