ch 5 and 6
Some of the boys are really slacking at there jobs here on the island.. these assigned jobs are very important and need to get done. i hope that soon the litluns will realize that there is no such this as a monster and will then have better nights of rest instead of crying though-out the night. Goin out with the hunters to try and find this made up monster will keep the litluns quiet for awhile.. I just wonder if there really is a monster out on this island and how are we gunna kill it... During the quest to go find the moster that the litluns said hurt them I notice that the tension between Ralph and I is decresing... the less tension the better for us all


Ch 2 & 3
I really dont like ralph at all... As a leader he is doing fine. I'm taking care of the hunters and we are trying hard to catch meat.. we need practice and we will be good at it. i dont want to be bothered with ralphs problems. yes the huts are important but my job is to get meat not build huts. he needs to get more control over his group of boys. I hope this fire making gets better soon.. because it will help us to be saved by getting attention from a boat or plane. we also can not lose lifes in a fire.. the more boys the better, we need to all become mature fast.. we will survive
