Chapter 11 & 12
People will not leave me alone! The point of scurrying away from Ralph and Piggy was to earn my privacy. In turn, what do I get? People bothering me. Castle Rock is mine! I don’t need anyone invading it. I had to fight Ralph to get off my back as for Piggy well, do I have to discuss that? Whatever happened it happened for the good, lets just put it that way. I took his glasses and they came after me with a Conch. Like I was going to listen to them! I find that really funny. I needed it to have my own fire, if they don’t have meat what do they need a fire for anyway? After everything happened Piggy died, what did I say. Everything happened for the best. I recruited the twins and I had the whole place for myself except for one person…Ralph. So hunted him down by sending my boys to burn everything in their way if they had to. Everything was going so smoothly until some naval officer came. Back to civilization already? I was just getting started.
I'm glad that we are getting off this island even if you aren't. You should never have done that to Piggy and if you had just left me alone, none of this would have happened. When we get back you will see that I was right all along. If only you had listened to me. (Ralph, Emily Nichols)
